Grandpa Pintaudi's Fried Shrimp

This is a Christy Family favorite. We would make this every Christmas and would go through it like crazy. At least 5 to 10 pounds for the entire family. Now with my family we'll cook up about two pounds and it make great left overs. Freeze them when your done and nuke them for about 15 to 30 seconds for 6 to 10 and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 2 tsps sugar
  • 2 tsps salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 lbs shrimp

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl except for flour and shrimp.
  2. Slowly wisk in enough flour until thick and slowly drips off of wisk.
  3. Coat shrimp and deep fry at 350 degrees until golden brown.
  4. Drain, cool and enjoy!
