Ingredients

  • 1 lb Spaghetti
  • 1 Jar Ragu Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1 lb Ground Hamburger
  • 7 oz Evaporated Milk
  • 2 Heaping Tablespoons Flour
  • 2 Heaping Tablespoons Margarine
  • 1 lb Cheddar Cheese Grated

Instructions

Step 1: Spaghetti Mixture

  1. Boil spaghetti in water according to directions on package. In a large sauce pan brown the hamburger and drain fat. Add the spaghetti and spaghetti sauce to the browned hamburger. Set aside on low heat to keep warm.

Step 2: Cheese Sauce

  1. Melt margarine in a medium size sauce pan. Note: Only let margarine melt do not over cook as to let the oils separate in the margarine. Once Margarine is melted adder the flour. Mix until you have a thick paste. Slowly mix in the evaporated milk with medium heat. Make sure the milk mixes in slowly and does not lump. Once all of the milk has been added, mix in the 3/4 of the grated cheddar cheese.

Step 3: Cheese Bake Spaghetti

  1. In a 9 x 12 baking pan add 1/2 of the Spaghetti and spaghetti sauce mixture. Completely cover the bottom of the pan. Cover the first layer of the spaghetti mixture with all of the cheese sauce. Cover the cheese sauce with the remainder of the spaghetti mixture. Now, top with the remainder of cheddar cheese. Bake uncovered at 350o for 30 minutes or until cheddar cheese is completely melted.
