
This recipe comes from my mother Mary who was given it from a friend. Its a great appetizer and we would make it for Christmas Eve every year.

Swedish Meatballs
Excellent appetizer or side dish for pot lucks!

Ingredients
Sauce
- 1 can onion soup 10 3/4 oz
- 1 can tomato soup 10 3/4 oz
- 2 tbsp cornstartch
- 2 large cloves minced garlic
- 1/4 cup cider or white vinegar
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tbsp hot pepper sauce I don’t add this
Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground sausage
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bread softened soak in milk
- 1/4 tsp marjoram
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp sweet basil
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
Sauce

In a bowl combine all ingredients

add sauce into slow cooker and set on high temperature
Meatballs
-
mix all ingredients thoroughly

roll into one inch balls

brown in skillet, pour off excess fat

add cooked meatballs to slow cooker sauce

cook until tender
